1. Who we are

Type on Data Ltd ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed through the TOD-OPS platform and website. Contact our data protection lead at privacy@typeondata.co.uk.

2. What we collect

Account and contact details (name, email, company), authentication data, billing information (processed by our payment provider, Stripe), usage and device data, support communications, and any content you enter into the platform.

3. Why we process it (lawful bases)

To provide the service and perform our contract with you; for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the platform; to comply with legal obligations; and with your consent for optional analytics and marketing.

4. Sharing

We share data with sub-processors who help run the service (e.g. hosting at 20i, payments at Stripe, email delivery, and AI providers where you enable AI features). We do not sell your data. A current sub-processor list is available on request.

5. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK IDTA or Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal, accounting and audit obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data, and to complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). To exercise these, contact privacy@typeondata.co.uk.
